My family and I arrived late last night to the airport. We got our bags promptly but missed the shuttle to long term parking by just a minute. It was an empty bus, and I had a sense the driver saw us but didn't wait.
What was frustrating is that my family really wanted to be on that bus. After 20 minutes, the bus came back around. It made the initial trip to and from the lot empty. Can I blame the driver? We did miss the first bus by a minute.
As a business owner, how often have you turned away customers because they didn't meet your standards? The "standard" in this analogy is upfront payment. What if there was an alternative for your customer to pay their way and make you whole? Would you bring them on board?
